PRIVACY POLICY
1. Who we are
Casa Guadalajara is operated by Bazaar Del Mundo ("we," "us"). Casa Guadalajara is part of the Bazaar del Mundo family of businesses in Old Town San Diego: Casa de Pico, Casa de Bandini, Casa Guadalajara and the Bazaar del Mundo Shops.
2. Information we collect
We collect the name, email address, phone number and other details you share with us through our forms, signups, offers and event requests. We also collect device and browsing information through the tools that run on our website. We do not ask for sensitive personal information on our forms.
3. How we use information
We use information to answer your questions and requests; manage walk-ins and our waitlist; plan banquets and events you ask about; send emails and texts you agreed to receive; run offers, contests and promotions you enter; review feedback; keep our website secure; and meet legal obligations.
4. Sharing among the Bazaar del Mundo businesses
Casa de Pico, Casa de Bandini, Casa Guadalajara and the Bazaar del Mundo Shops are affiliated businesses. We may share your contact information and preferences among them so they can send you news and offers you agreed to receive. If you signed up with one business only, the others will not message you without your consent. We never share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.
La Familia is one loyalty and offers program shared by Casa de Pico, Casa de Bandini, Casa Guadalajara and the Bazaar del Mundo Shops. When you join La Familia, your name, email, phone and program activity are used by all four businesses to send La Familia news, offers and event invitations you agreed to receive. Joining is voluntary, and you can leave at any time by unsubscribing or by contacting us.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
We use service providers that process information for us under contract, such as website, form and messaging platforms, email delivery, waitlist, online ordering, gift card and payment vendors. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Sale and sharing for advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. When our website tools are used for advertising, California law may call this "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time (section 7). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
7. Your privacy choices
To opt out of sharing, email hola@casaguadalajara.com. We will apply your opt-out to the information we control. You can also limit tracking through your browser's privacy settings.
8. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may ask to know, access, correct or delete your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We verify requests by matching the information you give us with what we hold, and you may use an authorized agent. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, which we may extend once by 45 days with notice. To make a request, email hola@casaguadalajara.com.
9. Cookies and website tools
Our website is hosted on Popmenu, a third-party restaurant website platform. Popmenu and the analytics and advertising tools it loads may set cookies and collect browsing information when a page loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of sharing as described in section 7.
10. Text messages
If you check a box to receive texts, you agree to receive recurring marketing texts from the business or businesses named on the form at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of dining. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. You can also opt out by replying "cancel" or "unsubscribe," or by contacting us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11. Email
Our marketing emails identify us, include our mailing address and have an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We may still send transactional emails, such as replies to your banquet request.
12. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or longer when the law requires it. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
13. Children
Our website is for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Security and other websites
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. Our website links to other websites, such as ordering, waitlist and gift card vendors, which have their own privacy policies.
15. Changes and contact
We will post any changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Questions or privacy requests: hola@casaguadalajara.com, or write to Casa Guadalajara, 4105 Taylor Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
